In her free time if Jaci isn't dancing, she is spending time in the great outdoors with her husband Nick and son Jadyn. In 2019, Jaci moved to Lincoln, Nebraska and joined the Strarstruck family taking adult ballet, tap, jazz and lyrical. Jaci is currently a Principal consultant at Educe Group, a technology consulting firm. There she continued dance until earning her MBA from Southern Illinois University and working full time on her career in HR Technology took all her time. After graduating college in 2006 with a Bachelor's degree in Business Management from the University of Missouri Jaci moved to St. In college Jaci continued to explore her love of dance by taking two semesters of ballroom dancing. In high school, Jaci was a member of the cheerleading squad and dance team, the Marshfield Jaywalkers. She started with tap and ballet, but soon added jazz, lyrical and clogging. Emily is excited for year 20!īorn in Springfield, Missouri, Miss Jaci began dancing at age three. Emily enjoys seeing her students succeed with self-confidence and sharing her love of dance with others in a positive learning environment. and spending time with family and friends. A dance teacher since the age of 15, Emily's dream was to open a dance studio of her own. ![]() She graduated with honors and highest distinction from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in May 2003 with a BFA in Dance. She has toured the country teaching dance conventions in California, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas and Nebraska. Emily has performed in Disneyland, Disney World, New York City and various other cities across the United States with an award winning dance troupe as well as with the University of Nebraska-Lincoln Dance Program. She has studied tap, ballet, jazz, pointe, hip hop, lyrical, modern, cheer and dance team. CD's that are not claimed at the end of the competition will be discarded.Miss Emily is a native of Lincoln and has been dancing since the age of three. Music can be picked up at the front table at the conclusion of each presentation of awards. All routines scheduled for Sunday should be in a playlist entitled Sunday, and in scheduled order as well. Within the playlist, routines should be in order such as, 201 Blackbird, 209 Smooth Criminal, etc. For example: All routines scheduled for Saturday should be in a playlist entitled Saturday. Ipods or flash drive usb should be labeled with studio code and songs should be in competition order according to the day and number assigned. This is to ensure that our event will remain on schedule. However, if it is more than 20 seconds into the routine, we will not honor a second performance. In the event that a CD skips during a routine in the first 20 seconds, we will ask the dancer(s) to exit the stage and allow them to perform again. Ipods and flash drives are preferred over CDs as a back up to prevent skipping and other CD malfunctions. All props backstage must be labeled with the studio name for identification purposes.Įach contestant must Upload their performance music or bring an Ipod /flash drive usb. Starstruck Dance Challenge® will not be responsible for props left overnight or unattended. Storing props in the wings or backstage is not allowed for safety and spatial reasons. Props must be loaded in and out of the competition venue on the same day that they will be used. Fire, smoke machines, swords, knives, and use of live animals are prohibited. Hanging backdrops and special lighting also may not be used. If the stage is littered after your performance with feathers, confetti etc., you should be prepared to remove it immediately following the routine in an expeditious manner. may be used that can affect the dancing surface.
